Herkimer diamonds are a unique variety of quartz crystal, known for their exceptional clarity and brilliance. They are double-terminated quartz crystals with 18 natural facets, giving them a hexagonal shape that resembles traditional diamonds. These crystals are found primarily in Herkimer County, New York, and are formed naturally in dolomite and limestone deposits.

    Key Features:

    • Hardness: 7-7.5 on the Mohs scale.
    • Clarity: The most valuable are crystal clear, though some may have inclusions causing cloudiness.
    • Size: Typically around 1 inch (2.5 cm), with larger stones being more prized.
    • Color: Usually colorless but can also appear in white, gray, brown, or black.
    • Formation: Found in pockets surrounded by limestone, often within Dolostone geodes, and formed over thousands of years.

Herkimer diamonds are also referred to as "the stone of attunement," symbolizing high vibrational light and clarity, often associated with spiritual and astral connections.

Stainless steel jewelry is the most biocompatible and hypoallergenic metals due to its antiallergic properties. Stainless steel is one of the strongest jewelry metals and will not turn your skin green even with daily wear. It is corrosion resistant compared to most other typical metals used in jewelry making. Stainless steel will not rust, oxidize, or scratch easily, resists tarnishing, sun, water, and will be very durable.

Physical Gold Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a vacuum coating process that produces a shiny gold decorative and functional finish.
PVD uses a titanium nitride which provides an extremely durable coating.
PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plating. They can be 10 times thicker than standard gold plating.

    Advantages of PVD coating:

    ● Sustainability

    ● Corrosion resistant

    ● Longer lifespan
